Jessie Durant is the Archivist for the Santa Cruz Seaside Company. Since 2014, she has been tasked with managing the Boardwalk’s extensive archival collections. The collections include a wide range of items including photographs, documents, audio/visual media, posters, ride parts and much more – if it is related to the history of the Boardwalk and the Santa Cruz Seaside Company it has a home in the Archives. Jessie’s goal is to ensure that the history of the Boardwalk and Seaside Company is documented and preserved for years to come and to share this rich history with employees and guests. To acheive this goal she actively collected, organized and made available items of enduring historical value. Jessie is passionate about Boardwalk history and was proud to be a part of the Boardwalk legacy.
