More than just bowling
Based on its name and long history you’d expect to find friendly and competitive games of bowling happening at Boardwalk Bowl, but did you know it is also the site of a robust karaoke culture? As someone who strongly believes in the early 20th century adage, “music self-played is happiness self-made,” I’m a big fan of any opportunity to invite people into the process of making and performing music. Since joining the Santa Cruz Seaside Company I’ve been delighted to see how this idea is advanced seven nights a week for all ages at Boardwalk Bowl!
